April Lockhart

April Lockhart (born July 4, 1995) began her musical journey in the 7th grade when she started guitar and piano lessons. At the age of seven April started taking piano and guitar lessons. It sparked her interest to write songs. At the age of 14, April spent a lot of her time making song lyrics and working on her music. The following months, she started taking writing excursions together with her dad to LA and NY. April also included additional topics in her track"Take my Hand. These topics were for friends that dealt with issues such as peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal thoughts. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer who has a growing number of followers. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia together, and is also a specialist in lifestyle. Born without a left hand, Lockhart is a major part of her. However, it's not her entire story. Still, she acknowledges going through periods of feeling insecure about her physique and being uneasy wearing certain clothing styles that exposed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and proudly posts pictures of herself wearing the clothes she chooses on social platforms. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not an end goal. However, I believe that's the case with everyone with whatever the source of their anxiety. People you associate yourself with, who know you and see into your heart are the best people to remind you of what you're worried about.
