Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on television. Her role on The Office has earned her an Emmy nomination in the best supporting Actress category and she also received two SAG Awards, both for exceptional performances in an ensemble cast in a comedy.
Her birthplace and childhood was in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was inspired by her mom's performance in church at the time she started her journey.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her home base after finishing The Office. She was a part of the Off-Broadway play Reasons to be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office's Angela Kinsey (the cast mate of Fischer) and her real life best friend Angela Kinsey, who is from The Office, started a podcast in October, called Office Ladies. The show is now extremely well-known and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. In its first year, it received over 200 million downloads. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her experience in Hollywood as an actor in the field and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who Were There, which is a story of the greatest friendship they had as well as their experience on The Office.
