Canadian screen actress who became popular for her portrayal of Bo Dennis on Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first appearance in 2019. Other credits include 2006's Earthstorm and 2005's The Perfect Neighbor. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk a professor and Ilkay who is an actor, director educator, producer and director of Drama St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first memories are of watching her mom work and attending play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials when she was just a little girl. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. In her early theater career, she was involved in at least 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. They have two sons named Samuel and Levi. In 2009, she got the main role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. The character she played Bo as well as Lauren as lovers of the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN and declared Top Television Couple of 2013. E! Entertainment Television. Because of the show's success, Silk has gained an enviable presence on social media.
